FEBRUARY 2009
Happy new year and welcome to the second Cinnamon 88 newsletter...
Due to difficult ground conditions, delays were encountered on the start of the construction of the hotel, however we are now pleased that the ground conditions in the area of the Central Facilities building which is 80,000 square feet (7,342 square metres) is currently being excavated and dealt with as per our earth consultants; Jaca Sierra.
This building is a significant part of the hotel which will house the Front of House Department, Meeting Rooms, Board Room, all-day dining, the major swimming pool, bar and grill leading down to the beach.
The excavation earthworks in preparation for the hotel foundations are nearing completion and the first phase of the Hotel foundations will commence in March. The Barbados Minister of Tourism visited the site in January resulting in positive press coverage in the Barbados Daily Nation.

We have had considerable interest here at Four Seasons Private Residences, Barbados over Christmas and the New Year.
Cinnamon 88 held a Cocktail Party at Alang Alang Bay on Boxing Day which resulted in an attendance of approximately 80 people. A number of these guests booked a tour of the site over the Christmas fortnight.
Simon Cowell purchased his 3rd villa here at Four Seasons Private Residences, Barbados and MoreySmith Limited are re-designing villas 2 and 3 on the beach into one Super-villa for Simon, approximately 18,000 sq ft in size.
The images below show how the Four Seasons Private Residences site has progressed since commencement in November, 2007 through to November, 2008.
